Facebook Channels is available for any accounts that the user has administrative access to, through their personal or business manager account. Once the user has linked the social media accounts, an icon will show up in the Channels tool, which links to the account.
Accounts in NUVI Channels will pull data from the time the user links the account, and from there, forward. However, a Facebook account in Channels typically pulls as much data as Facebook has available, which can potentially be a year of data.
Once you have selected the account, the account bar will appear showing the current amount of likes, mentions, and check-ins for the entire lifetime of the account.
The user can select a timeframe using the Timeframe drop-down to select a predetermined amount of time or by selecting a custom date range.
Within the Snapshot, there are a variety of cards that hold various analytics. The first card is the Post Timeline. This card shows a timeline of all published posts on the day they were originally published. The Post Timeline is limited to 100 posts.
When you click a bubble, an engagement card will appear with the lifetime of engagements for that specific post.
The second card is entitled Post Impressions. Post Impressions shows the total impressions that every post received during the given time period. The Organic total represents how many views came from the original post.
- Viral total represents how many views came from a share.
- Paid total is how many views came from ad spend (ex. boosted/sponsored post).
In the upper right-hand corner, there is a Unique and Total option.
- Unique represents how many unique users saw the post.
- Total is how many views were collected total and shows multiple views from the same user.
The purple line represents paid, the green line represents viral, and the blue line represents organic impressions.
The third card is named Engagements By Post Date. This card shows the total likes, comments, and shares during the given time period. Posts are aggregated by day, regardless of the post date receiving the interaction. Therefore, this section shows daily traffic (interactions) on the given Facebook page.
The fourth card is entitled Feedback. Feedback in Channels is action-based and is not keyword sentiment analysis.
