Monitors
Mention - A mention is a post on a social media network that matches the monitor keywords, handles, etc.
Sentiment - determines whether or not a mention is positive, negative, or neutral. Based on an algorithm, particular words and phrases may be marked as positive or negative.
Date Range - the number of days selected when viewing data
Segment - An extension of a monitor that allows users to select a smaller portion of the data to run analytics and reports on. In short, a segment is an advanced search for a monitor.
Free Form Query - search language used for refining a search. Found in the Segment portion of NUVI and used for the global search
Command Center - Live Stream Timeline of incoming mentions.
World Deck - Worldview of mentions by region/area.
Reach - Is the sum of all original author's follower counts (minus duplicate authors).
Spread - Is the sum of all secondary (retweets) author's follower counts (minus duplicate authors).
Influencer Score - Score based on a 3rd party source called Klout Score
Most Active - Most number of posts for a particular monitor set
Most Mentioned - Social profiles mentioned the most in posts
Trends - Includes trending sections in keywords, hashtags, URLs, positive terms, negative terms, networks, and categories.
Charts - Available charts are pie charts, bar charts, web chart, and treemap chart.
Demographics - Search by location, gender, and language.
Historical Job - Request old data before the monitor was created so it can be added to the existing monitor.
Character Sets - any number of characters included in a word. For example, the character set eat would look for eat, eating, eats, etc.
Proximity - Proximity allows you to match posts based on the proximity of 2 or more words (case insensitive). Proximity will look before and after keywords to find matches. (Twitter only allows a 2-word look before). For example, if the sentence is Engineering has started to show videos of new research. You could match this sentence by adding 4 engineering videos. Because engineering and videos are within 4 words of each other.
Domain - the URL of a webpage
Networks - Social networks NUVI tracks: Automattic, Facebook, Google Plus, Instagram, Pinterest, Reddit, Product Reviews, Blogs, News, RSS, Stack Overflow, Tumblr, Twitter, YouTube
Automattic - It is most notable for WordPress.com (a free blogging service), as well as its contributions to WordPress (open source blogging software). It also owns Akismet, Gravatar, Cloudup, Polldaddy, VaultPress, VideoPress, IntenseDebate, Plinky.
Reddit - social news aggregation, web content rating, and discussion website.
Product Reviews - websites that host reviews for websites including Hotels.com, Amazon and more.
RSS - (Rich Site Summary) is a type of web feed which allows users to access updates to online content in a standardized, computer-readable format. These feeds can, for example, allow a user to keep track of many different websites in a single news aggregator.
Stack Overflow - Users can ask questions and get answers with no distractions, view job listings and view documentation. Users earn reputation points when other developers vote on their posts. Users earn badges for special achievements
Tumblr - microblogging and social networking website. Service allows users to post multimedia and other content to a short-form blog. Users can follow other users' blogs.
Custom Data Sources - Enterprise feature that allows clients to add personal information or data into NUVI to be categorized and structured. For example Slack data, Intercom data, Salesforce, etc.
Places - Instagram feature used when tagging a place or location in particular that they can be searched.
Locations - Specific location based on country, state, and city.
Mag Region - Select on a world map, any location and have up to a 25-mile geo-fenced area that pulls in data within that radius.
Settings
Agency - the main account of the user where users can change mention limits to companies and add admin users
Company - Found within an agency. Used for separating several clients or users accounts
Tags - Labels used for marking mentions in the monitor
Usage - the number of mentions used in a given time period
Credits - the number of mentions allocated to a particular company or agency
White Label - Users can add their own custom images to these following locations: Login Page Logo, Main Menu Logo, Favicon, Apple Touch Icon, Stream Background
Apple Touch Icon - Appears next to a Bookmark for NUVI on a mobile device
Favicon - Favorite Icon found on the browser tab or window
Social Profiles - Where users can add and remove social network profiles on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Google+, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and Bitly.
Bitly - URL shortener used for tracking webpage clicks
