In this article we'll go over the functionality of the toggle mentions feed. The feed is another way to view the mentions being pulled into your monitor, mass delete mentions, and otherwise interact with your data.
In order to find this button, hop into any of monitor, the Toggle Mentions feed button is located in the top right corner of the Nuvi app.
The mentions feed is normally a partial view, but you can change it to full screen mode by clicking on the diagonal arrows button below the toggle mentions feed button. The most functionality is available in full screen mode.
Functions of the Toggle Mentions Feed:
Mass Delete Mentions:
In the event that a monitor pulls in irrelevant mentions this is the quickest way to delete them.
The mentions can be deleted by, clicking the Edit Posts button, selecting the posts needing to be deleted, and clicking on the red trash can button. In the example below I created a monitor for Sabaton's new single Bismarck. The monitor pulled in mentions about Bismarck ND. By searching North Dakota in the search bar, I isolated the mentions and used the mass delete function to delete them.
Change Sentiment of Mentions:
A Nuvi user also has the ability to change the sentiment of mentions via the mentions feed. In the example below a specific tweet was marked as Negative. However, the mention was talking about a Thanos event which should've had a neutral sentiment. Using the search bar and the change sentiment option I cleared out a lot of negative mentions.
Interact with Tweets:
This option is available in most other views as well, but the mentions feed provides a clear cut environment to work with.
By using the search bar query sentiment_category:positive only positive sentiment mentions should be populated. On each mention there is an option to like, retweet, quote, comment, follow, tag, note, and email. These options can be extremely convenient for engaging with customers and for damage control in negative situations.

Note: One can also delete or change the sentiment of single mentions by clicking on the 3 blue dot button in the bottom right of each mention. The Mark author as spam will prevent future mentions from specific authors from being pulled into the monitor.
