Connecting your Facebook and Instagram pages to Monitors Enterprise is necessary to pull in data from Facebook and Instagram. Even though the recent restrictions on Facebook’s API prevent you from being able to pull in a lot of data from these platforms, connecting your accounts will increase your chances. Here’s how to do it.
Step 1: Open Facebook and Instagram in Separate Tabs
Before you start this process, make sure that both Facebook and Instagram are opened up and signed into on separate tabs.
Step 2: Connect Your Business Instagram Page to Facebook
From your business’s Facebook profile page, click the “Settings” button from the scroll menu on the left side of the screen. From there, select the Instagram tab from the left-hand column.
Once inside the Instagram tab, click “Connect Account” and sign in to your business Instagram page.
A pop up should appear asking you to sign into the IG account needed to be connected. Enter in the login info and click Log In.
The next pop up should ask the user to set up the Business account.
Click Continue through all the options. Instagram may then have the user try to sign in again. Go ahead and ignore that and refresh the page. Add Instagram Business Tools Should now appear on the Instagram page in Facebook. Click on Switch Now.
Instagram will have the user log in one more time. Click through the Continue options, and assuming Facebook and Instagram are working correctly, the Instagram page and Facebook page are now both business pages and should be able to be connected in Nuvi.
