November 2019 Release Notes
Comparisons Migrated into Dashboards
Over the past two months an enormous effort was undertaken to move all clients' comparisons into dashboards. This task, initiated as a cornerstone effort to consolidate analysis functionality into a single place within the Enterprise application and now provides all the available features of LISTEN to all customers.
Simplifying the user experience and levels of effort to “get to the answer” are fundamental to our move into 2020 as well as significantly simplify and accelerate our ability to get new features and enhancements out to production.
Dashboards - Bubble Stream for Multiple Monitors
In parallel with the Comparisons migration, we have released a new Bubblestream visualization vastly expanding the content that can be displayed concurrently. Previously Bubble Charts were limited to displaying the results from a single monitor.
Trending Phrases, Keywords, and Rule Set Keyword Matches
We've updated the list of trending datasets available in dashboard widgets. A new
dataset was added and some were renamed to help users understand:
● Rule Set Keyword Matches (formerly “Trending Topic Keyword Frequency”):
This dataset displays the keywords from your monitor's rule set that matched
the most mentions.
● Trending Keywords (new dataset): This includes common nouns/entities parsed
out of your monitor's mentions. (Dashboards Only)
● Trending Phrases (formerly Trending Keywords): Includes common phrases found in your monitor's mentions.
Updated Alerts List
Expanding on our ability to actively engage with our users and extend the value of reporting, Alerts are a mechanism where we move the presence of social data out off the dashboards and into the users email! We have updated the list of current system alerts to include a dropdown to filter notifications by specific monitors. This is a precursor to many new features within the alerts system that are planned for the coming months shifting the Nuvi experience further from passive, and closer to an active partnership.
Natural Language Analytics (“NLA”)
A tremendous amount of work has been accomplished in the past month for our English Sentiment Engine. Having replaced Lexylitics, the industry standard for sentiment scoring with our own proprietary software has already exceeded capabilities and performance expectations! Expanding past simple “Positive”, “Neutral”, “Negative” scoring to include facets from subjectivity to vulgarity and intent. Our data training teams have manually scored and loaded to our kiguc engines more than 70,000 mentions.
In the process we have seen performance ranging from 20% to almost 30% better than
industry standards. We are now expanding further moving into Japanese language training across facets as well as introducing Polish into the basic sentiment analysis. Over the next few weeks we
will be publishing the first of our technology white papers to truly highlight this very unique and powerful differentiator!
