What Sets Nuvi Apart?
For most social listening platforms, language analytics usually requires a partnership with a third-party company. While it gets the job done, we saw room for improvement so we set out to build our own tool that would improve the quality of data that you receive.
We are excited to announce the Nuvi Language Engine, our own in-house language analytics tool that beats the industry standard and has more accuracy than ever.
How Does the Nuvi Language Engine Work?
Starting with sentiment analysis, the Language Engine will offer a wide array of compelling data points to aid in the analysis of your social listening. We used a combination of human-annotated data and machine learning algorithms to put together a system that is more powerful than ever and can keep up with the ever-changing nuances of modern language.
What Data Does It Provide?
Like mentioned earlier, language analytics provides a wide array of data points. Below is a list of the specific places you will see the Engine at work.
Sentiment Analysis
Your monitors can now predict with more accuracy than ever whether an author of a mention was being positive, negative, or neutral with their message. Sentiment is one of the hardest facets of language analysis because it's subjective and can change based on context. We are confident that our Engine can keep up with the best of the best with its initial 80% accuracy because we have benchmarked it against the top solutions out there.
Author Demographics
Learn more about your audience through our accurate gender prediction data and geolocation tagging.
Trending Phrases and Categories
Gain a more accurate sense of what people are really talking about through our trending keywords and phrases identification.
The engine will also automatically sort each mention into a pre-determined list of categories for you to more easily identify conversation themes. Click here to see what categories are available.
Vulgarity Detection
You can now see how likely it is for a mention to be vulgar or not.
Subjectivity
This is also another new data set that will allow you to quickly see whether a mention is more likely to be fact or opinion.
Future/Past/Present Tense Detection
Easily determine the verb tense the author is using.
Author Intent
Generate sales leads by understanding the intent of the author to buy, recommend, or quit.
Influencer Data
Gather information on influencers such as influencer scores and benchmarking them against each other based on reach, spread, sentiment, and more.
Categories

Phrases
