How to Run a Historical Job
Historical Jobs are the only way to retroactively pull data in Nuvi. When in a monitor, click on the 3 dot icon to pull up monitor options and select Historical Jobs. Please note that users can only pull historical data from Twitter.
From the Historical job page, users can adjust the date range and then request an estimate of how many mentions it will pull. Up to 1 year of data can be pulled at a time. Please note, it will bill the account for the mention amount used so if the estimate is a large number, consider adjusting the date range or changing the monitor rules.
After requesting the data, an open request will be visible with the progress of pulling in data. Depending on the number of mentions, it will take a while to process the request. This change was made to improve the efficiency of historical jobs and to help with data gathering times.
Once the request is finished, it will show up under completed requests and the user can view the data in the overview. You can also view the data by changing the date range on your monitor to any timeframe included in the historical job pulls. Depending on your monitor rules, the initial estimate may be higher than the actual mentions pulled in. Your account will only be charged for mentions actually pulled into the monitor.
