How to Download the App -
On a smartphone or tablet, navigate to the app store. Once there, search for Nuvi Capture. Click install/download.
Logging in & Setup -
After tapping into the app, the user will be directed to log in. Their login information will be the same as the username and password for our web-app app.nuvi.com.
Once logged in, the user will be directed to select their company, media release form type, add their website, and add a business associated hashtag. Once all that information is selected/entered in, tap on SAVE AND CONTINUE.
Capture will then ask for access to the user's camera. Select Ok/Allow.
Taking a Picture -
Once all setup is done, Capture will direct the user to the screen where they can take a picture. Take a picture by tapping on the green dot at the bottom of the screen. Once a picture is taken, a screen will pop up with the HIPPA/Media release form for those in the photo to fill out. Enter in the Name, Phone Number, and have whoever is in the picture sign by tapping on TAP HERE TO SIGN.
Note: Once a picture is posted, a text message with the image and a link to the company's Facebook page will be sent to the client. This is helpful so they can share the image on their own social media and like the post on the company's social media as well.
Once all that is done, have the client tap I AGREE at the bottom of the page. After that is hit, the app will give an option to sign another release form should there be multiple people in the photo. Once everyone has signed, tap SUBMIT at the bottom of the page. After Submit has been hit, the user will now have the opportunity to customize the image with stickers. Open the stickers menu by tapping on the smiley face box in the bottom left corner of the screen.
Once all desired stickers have been added, tap on the arrow in the top right to continue to posting the image. A user can also tap on the X in the top left to abandon the image or save it for later, and tap the download to the device button in the bottom right corner. Let's proceed with posting the image now.
Posting to Social Media -
The next screen will enable the user to schedule the post, add a caption/copy, and save the post to their gallery. Tap on the Write a caption text box to add a caption. The user can also add the previously added hashtag and website with a tap of a button. Tap OK once the copy is good to go.
Next, select the social profiles you'd like to post to and schedule the time for posting.
Note: If posting to Instagram the user can only select the Instagram social account and they have to publish the post now. Once Share Now has been tapped, Capture should automatically open the Instagram app for user to post in the native Instagram App.
A user can also unselect all social profiles to get the Save to Gallery Option. This will upload the image to the Gallery on the web-app for later use.
The Capture app also stores all signed photos and the associated media release form. Tap the rectangle with the squiggly right underneath the photo to view the media release.
